Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Behavior is a 182-credit-hour program that includes 66 credit hours of general education, 88 credit hours focused on the psychology core, and 28 credit hours dedicated to the organizational behavior concentration. This program is only offered online.
This program is designed to provide students real-world application of psychological concepts and theories.
Students have the opportunity to develop analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Students will have the opportunity to examine workplace issues that impact individuals, groups, and organizations. The psychology of organizational behavior examines topics such as developing human talent and resources, consulting, coaching and mentoring, creating learning organizations, dealing with change, promoting organizational improvements, and fostering personal growth and professional success.
This program does not lead to additional licensure or certification. As such, CTU has made no determination regarding prerequisites for licensure or certification in any state or jurisdiction.
The Psychology program’s mission is to develop versatile professionals through exposure to leadership, management and organizational concepts and strategies within the field of psychology. The program is designed to help students prepare for careers in applied psychology through management, administration, and/or sales. The Psychology program blends psychological principles with leadership and business principles to provide skills and techniques to address challenges that organizations are facing in the 21st century.

Executive Program DirectorDr. Catherine McBride has been at CTU since January 2021, serving as an Executive Program Director for the College of Business and Management. Catherine has been in higher education for 22 years, with 18 years of online education experience across a variety of institutions in varying capacities but always serving non-traditional learners.
Dr. David Gliddon
Executive Program DirectorDr. Gliddon is an Executive Program Director in the College of Business and Management. In previous roles at CTU, he was a Program Chair and Lead Faculty. He has taught over 20 courses in the undergraduate, MBA, and doctoral programs. He has provided service to the university on a number of committees and special projects.

CTU’s Bachelor of Science in Psychology (BSPSYCH) in Organizational Behavior Degree Program is designed to provide knowledge, skills, and abilities relevant for pursuing potential opportunities in the workforce. As you work to complete your BSPSYCH in Organizational Behavior, you will be immersed in courses where you will study these topics and much more: tools and strategies used to assess and identify organizational talent among staff; elements and disciplines that can generate a culture of learning and change; and concepts, foundations, and methods of organizational consulting.
Courses for the BSP in Organizational Behavior start online approximately every five weeks. Completion of the CTU admissions process will depend on how quickly you complete the steps in the CTU online application process. You may complete the application process over the phone with an advisor or you may go online. Once you’ve completed the online application, you may hear from an advisor within the following 24 hours to discuss the next steps toward starting your degree program.
The BSPSYCH in Organizational Behavior degree program consists of 182 credits. You may be eligible for transfer credit, which is evaluated on an individual basis. Not all credits are eligible to transfer. CTU Fast Track™ exams also offer the opportunity to earn college credit for what you already know allowing you to complete a degree up to 30% faster.1
